On Writing...
Calvin & Hobbes by Bill Watterson
“No passion in the world is equal to the passion to alter someone else's draft.”
– H.G. Wells (1866-1946)
Whereas I've been a voracious reader all my life, I have never endeavored to become a writer. However, throughout my career I have been called upon to create press releases, news articles and grant proposals in order to move my programs forward. So, here for your reading pleasure are some short pieces of writing relating to aging programs at Macomb Community College.

Grant Proposals
Here are two examples of small grants I was awarded on behalf of the college. The first is from the International Longegivity Center and MetLife for a program created to provide free training to families caring for older adults. The second is from Civic Ventures and The Deerbrook Charitable Trust for a program that recruits and trains older adults into direct care careers.
